I can't redact in acrobat pro because it keeps redirecting me to create an account

(I am sorry that I am writing in English.  I am still learning German.)

I need to redact documents.  I have a trial for adobe acrobat, which includes the ability to redact.  When I select "redact" from all tools, I get directed to create an account or start a trial with Adobe Acrobat Pro.  I checked and I am definitely logged into my account.

I can't redact documents on the desktop app, because I am working on Ubuntu.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

The redaction option is only available in the desktop application, not the web-based one. Find a computer with Windows or MacOS, and you'll be able to use it.

Are you currently using Adobe Acrobat Reader?

You need Pro to redact. Just be sure to read and follow the cancelation policy and do it in time if you don't want to subscribe.

I am using Pro.  I have a free trial for it and I am logged into the account with the free trial when this happens.
