Question

I can't save just one page without flattening

From my pdf document, I used to be able to click "save as" and save just one page of my document.  When I saved, editing wasn't allowed, but it was still text, which means the text could be copied and cut, plus the hyperlinks worked still.  Now, the only way I can transfer just one page from my document is to use the print option.  Unfortunately, that option completely flattens everything, so no text can be copied and no hyperlink can be accessed.  How to I get around this flattening process without loosing my option to only copy one page from the document?

Use Tools > Organize Pages and extract the page.

Thank you for the suggestion.  Unfortunately, I can't check to see if that helps until I get to a computer that has the paid Adobe subscription.  It looks like it may lead me in the right direction, though.
