I cannot create PDF from word document from my desktop. I used to be able to do it. Not working when I right click and convert to PDF

So much missing information. Much of the answer to your issue will depend upon what your OS is, what version of MS Office your are using, what version of Acrobat you are using.

There are other tools that can help. Both Apache's OpenOffice.org Office and Libre Office can create PDF form Word document and can even create form fields that will be added to the exported PDF file created. The two products also support the population of drop down and combo list form fields.
