I cannot type in Mandarin Chinese on Acrobat (ver. 2023.003)

Hi, I cannot type in Mandarin Chinese when using the type text button. I remember I could, particularly when I want to add comment or content directly on the PDF file in previous versions. 

 

English and Japanese are fine. 

 

Is there anything wrong with the software?
