Hi,

I am getting an error message when trying to combine many pdf files together.

Adobe Acrobat PRO XI (in french)

Windows 7 x64 (in french)

Error MSG:

Impossible de créer un fichier pdf car une erreur non identifié est survenue dans Acrobat.

Details/notes:

While it is trying to combine the files, I noticed that there is a yellow triangle as each page being processed.

Also, these files where on the network. When I copied them locally, they get the green check and are combined without a problem.

It is not a share/security issue as the user has modification rights to that folder.

Another user has the same setup and are able to combine multiple pdf files without any issue.

I uninstalled fully and reinstalled many reboots inbetween) (yes also activated).

Any ideas on how to get this fixed for the user having this problem?

Much appreciated.

Kai

HI tisupport_novatech,

Sorry for the delay in response.

Could you please try disabling Protected View in Acrobat and see if that works?

Launch Acrobat>click Edit>select Preferences>Security (Enhanced)>select Off under Protected View and then click OK.

Relaunch Acrobat and try combining pdfs.

You may also try the steps suggested in the link below:

No PDF file was created because Acrobat encountered an unidentified error.

Thank You,
