i cant open .pdf in outlook express ,i have windows xp 32 bit, use firefox and have tried IE,  can read the file if saved to desktop

Outlook is not a PDF viewer.

sorry I did not make myself clear.

in the past for several years, on receiving an attachement within outlook express, I could click on the .pdf and view the attachment within outlook express, now I have to save the attachment to the desk top first.
