Question

I got the latest version of Acrobat but don't see an option to draw a regular text box, only callout

Is there a way to draw a regular text box? I don't see it in the new version of Acrobat. For my job I have to put on a lot of annotations on PDFs which I create with an arrow plus a text box. The callout text box is harder to control, especially on a layout that needs a lot of these annotations, the way the arrow bends doesn't always work well for my job's purposes and fitting a bunch of these in a margin. Besides that not being intuitive as I'm used to I'm also trying to figure out how to make shortcuts so I can create something like the toolbar at the top of the page that I'm used to so I can get to the draw arrow button more easily. I also don't see the popup with text box colors readily clickable but if that functionality is there would use it so I can more quickly change text box font colors.

Hi @Rebecca Angui30553380qjhe ,

If you are on Acrobat Pro DC (64-bit) version,  disable the New Acrobat Experience :

The Adobe Help Center guidance that I've linked for you above may also help you to get familiarized with the New Acrobat Experience, should you decide to keep it.
