Question

I have a Adobe XI pro - OEM-Version. An update is always answered with an error message for example C:\Config.Msi\PT28E1.tmp. Do anyone know, what to do in this case. Adobe itself said they can not help.

I can say that counterfeit product often looks very realistic. "OEM" is a label sometimes used to explain a cheap price or the lack of a box. I can't confirm, you may have to check the serial with Adobe. EVEN THEN the serial is sometimes found out to be invalid years later, and blocked. I cannot advise buying anything labelled "OEM", they are not made for general sale.

Hmm. I know the meaning of OEM. Unfortunately, while it has a correct meaning, it has also been found to label a lot of counterfeit product. Which would also not update because it was modified to defeat Adobe license checks. I hope this is not the case but it must be mentioned.

What is your current version? Was this product included with another product such as a scanner, or just sold as OEM?

Sorry - I'm very late with my answer to your question. I bought the product as OEM - it was not include. I hope I have not bought a counterfeit product. It looks not like that.

What's the full error message? What do you mean "OEM version"?

OEM means "Original Equipment Manufacturer. The full error message was:

Error during patch in file ... the file was probably updated in another way. This patch doesn't work now.
