, it wont validate even though I have the correct serial number because it says it cant find acrobat 7.0 on my system, I also have the serial number for acrobat 7.0 but I cant find anyplace to download it please help!
if your acrobat X is an upgrade from a previous version, you'll need both serial numbers (of acrobat X and your previous version).
when you start the installation you'll be prompted for your acrobat X serial number. after enter it you'll be prompted to select a qualifying upgrade (your previous version). you will then be prompted to enter the qualifying upgrade's serial number.
enter the correct number at the correct time and installation will proceed, though you can expect some issues if you're using a newer win or mac os.
