I have already installed DC Pro and subscribed, logged in and still cannot edit a PDF

Ever time I open the PDF I want to edit it states that I have to Download the correct version of ADOBE.....well I don't know what is up with software because I am fairly IT savy and still cannot edit a PDF. There Chat support is USELESS. ALL i needed was my adobe serial number and though I fully paid for it, they refused to  provide so I could download the correct version. I have now been on the phone on hold for 54 minutes and counting and have not been helped. Seems like they will take your money and THEY DO NOT PROVIDE THE SUPPORT THEY CLAIM TO WHEN YOU PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. I know have been unable to meet deadlines on a project that could cost me my job. Thanks ADOBE@

your message is confusing.

do you have a subscription (no serial number would be provided) or a classic/perpetual version (you would be provided a serial number).

if you're not sure, check your account.  the info may be there,  thttps://accounts.adobe.com
