I have the extension for Adobe on my chromedesktop but when I go to use it, it has the adobe use to print, convertto pdf in the address bar why ?

It can be. If you’ve set your device to open PDFs by the Adobe extension you describe — I’m assuming you’re talking about some Acrobat application like Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat you’ve installed on your system independently of the PDF capabilities baked into Google Chrome itself — that would be the expected result.

There should be nothing problematic for your computer or your web browser to open PDFs directly in Acrobat. If we’re talking just viewing PDFs, it’s more a preference. But you do ge more options for what you can “do” with a PDF using your Adobe extension than you would have with the baked-in PDF add-in you have in Google Chrome.

TL;DR - Unless it’s really bothering you, I wouldn’t worry about it. If it does, You can go to your System Settings and choose another option for opening your PDF files.
