I downloaded Adobe acrobat reader but what I got is the full version as a 7 day trial. I uninstalled it using a uninstall program I have, Revo uninstaller pro, during the uninstall it removed all left over files. Now sometime when I open a pdf ( Not all pdf's) they open in Adobe Acrobat even though I uninstalled it, I checked control panel and it isn't listed. how can I force all remaining files to be uninstalled?

Hi @Logical Ron

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the Acrobat Reader using the direct link https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and see if that works.

Additional info:
The 64-bit application is a unified application for Acrobat and Acrobat Reader. The default installation location is C:\Program Files\Adobe\AcrobatIf you have installed Acrobat Reader 64-bit and you purchase an Acrobat subscription, the Acrobat Reader 64-bit application will upgrade to become a fully functional Acrobat 64-bit application. https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/about-acrobat-reader-dc-migration-to-64-bit.html
