I just bought Acrobat Pro DC for use on a Mac running OS 10.13.5. The installer always hangs up and I have to force quit. Suggestions?

I just bought Acrobat Pro DC for use on a Mac running OS 10.13.5. The installer always hangs up and I have to force quit. Any suggestions to get it to install?

if subscription, install the cc desktop app from here https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

Thank you. I tried this and it has the same problem: "application not responding" and I had to force quit. Any other suggestions?

you saw that when installing the cc destkop app?

if so, you have something on your computer (eg, av) causing the problem.  suspend your av.
