I just cant get rid of the Tools sidebar and the FullScreen mode!

Version 2023.006.20380
I have gone to the preferences UNCHECKED the Tools option UNCHECKED full screen mode....
Yet every single time I open a file, it is in full screen mode and the tools are there.
I DONT NEED THAT!
Also. I have changed the zoom level to 75%, because thats what I need. Yet Acrobat says I am wrong  and I need 100%.

This is beyond annoying. I would appreciate any help to fix all these issues with my Acrobat.
And no. I dont want to have to read my PDFs in Chrome, but I will if thats the only solution

    The new version of Acrobat 23.08.2042X is now available to address this issue. Please update the application from the help menu > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

    Hello.  Im having the same trouble.  I cant get the tool sidebar to go away either.  I have version 23.008 64Bit.  HELP

    Well.

    The tools are now nicely tucked away, but documents still open in full screen mode, unless I'm missing something
