I keep getting an "application error" that says "The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) that occurred in the application at location0x00007FFFA93EFE0A" and other locations.

I keep getting an "application error" that says "The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007e) that occurred in the application at location0x00007FFFA93EFE0A" and other locations. Sometimes it crashes the program. Has anyone had this? Fixes?

    Thank you for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble caused.


    Please ensure you have installed the latest available update for the application. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Check for updates, install any available updates, and restart the machine. 


    If that does not help, try reinstalling the application using the steps suggested below:

    Thank you.  I followed your recommendation but I still get the error and when I try and install the update, it crashes and says it can not find a file.  Would appreciate any suggestions...

    We are sorry to hear that the update application did not work. Please confirm if you have tried reinstalling the application.

    Please share the current Acrobat and OS version numbers on the machine.
