I keep getting prompts to upgrade that block my use of Acrobat

Hi, when I go to Convert from a Word doc to a pdf I am getting a prompt to upgrade. I don't want to pay to upgrade as I am happily paying for a very basic service which suits my needs perfectly. When I close this prompt I am automatically reverted to the initial Convert page. Each time I try to Convert from Word to pdf this prompt comes up and blocks me from carrying out the very basic conversion I wish to. Very frustrating. I feel I should just cancel my subscription as I can't do the very thing I am paying for.
