Question

I'm trying to convert an image into a regular file...

I have the image of a letter, which I need to print out, but it was folded show the folds show and it widens from the middle to the top and to the bottom, which won't look very good when printed.  How can I convert the image back into a neat file, as if I'd just typed up the letter, so that I can print it back out neatly as well?   I hope this makes sense, and I'm sure it's something relatively easy to do, I'm just running into dead ends.  Thank you!

Let me add that if you have an image of a folded letter and it's not lying flat, that distortion may affect any OCR process. I'm assuming you do not have a scanner, but hopefully, you have an ironing board. If you have the latter, iron the letter so it's flat, then take your photo (try and keep the perspective distortion to a minimum), and then run the OCR.

Run Text Recognition on the file, then copy its contents to a Word doc and create a new PDF from that file.
