Question

I need access to an old contract via Adobe Acrobat Sign, but it's linked to an old student email which was deleted by the university after I graduated. How can I gain access to my contract again?

So I need access to a contract I signed using Adobe Acrobat Sign. The email it was linked to no longer exists as it was a student email that was deleted (by university admins) after I graduated. Foolishly, I don’t have a copy of the contract anywhere else and anytime I request a new copy it sends it to the non-existent email. How can I link the contract to my current email so that I can access it again? Thanks!

Frankly, I don’t know if you can get access to that account anymore.

The downside of Adobe IDs matching up with your emails is if the email account is gone, so is most everything that was associated with it. As you’ve discovered, when you try to reclaim the information, user confirmation to access the account is tied to the dead email account.

I guess you could try Adobe Customer Service at 800-915-9428 to see if there’s some way around that, but I’d suggest that’s a very low percentage play. You have to get a copy of that contract from whoever you agreed to contract with rather than Adobe.

Wish I had better info for you,
