Just the update or the full installer? For what OS?
Are you aware this is a very old version, not compatible with any current operating system?

First of all...I was using this version with Windows 10 Pro...and I only

used it for scanning documents and making PDFs out of them and every

function worked well. Secondly, Why do people say Acrobat 8.1 doesn't work

with newer versions when it has worked with every version from Windows XP

to Windows 10 Pro...on my computers. The problem is my cd got scratched

beyond repair. All I need is a cd or someplace where I can download a copy

of Acrobat 8.1 I have the license.

I don't know who said it doesn't work. I certainly didn't. I said it's not compatible with it, which means it might work or might not, or parts might work and others don't, or that it might work today and stop working tomorrow. It's not tested on that environment and not supported, so all bets are off.

Anyway, the activation servers for version 8 has been retired. You can get a new installer (and S/N) by following these instructions:
