I purchased a new laptop and I want to move Adobe 8 to it. I am registered on adobe.com, but cannot download. The chat desk was unable to provide support on this and sent me to the Forum. Who can help, please?

Hello

I purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro in 2007.

I want to move it to a laptop I just purchased.

When I log into my Adobe account, it shows that I own the product and that it's registered, but it is "greyed out" on the screen and i cannot access a link to download to my new machine.

I spent quite a bit of time with the Adobe Chat team, but they could do nothing to help and referred me to this Forum.

Any suggestions to access my product would be most helpful!

Thanks very much,

Louise

Correct answer kglad

you can expect some (or a lot) of problems with newer os'es and older adobe programs.

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
