I think I’m going mad

Please help someone!
I'm trying to translate a formatted/ table based document into Czech. I thought I had purchased the Acrobat AI upgrade (apparently not) so tried to ask the AI assistant to do it.

it initially went ok and whist it wasn't in a format I could download, the numbered sections were clear enough for me to add them individually to my original document.

Ii couldn't download, so copied and pasted to Word in the meantime.

I decided to upgrade to see if it could do a better job as apparently I ran out of searches (not the correct term).

Paid / logged out and back in etc and started again.

dragged and dropped the same document, asked if it could translate etc, just like before.

Was told it could not translate the document and had the (cursing removed) nerve to suggest I copied and pasted each paragraph into Google, and then pasted that into my document.

When I suggested it had literally done exactly what I had asked of it about 2 hours ago it's got confused. It's also said I can use 'Adobe Acrobat's built-in translation tools' but when I asked where they were, it has apologises for talking out of its arse and corrected itself.

I understand that AI is not perfect, but lying? 😂

How can it do a task one minute then be completely incapable the next - especially when I've just paid for a sodding upgrade for 'better' functionality.

Am I missing something?
Is it 42?

Please can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks 🙂

@Sarah_Free3852 the file can become “disqualified” for generative processing because of malformed or highly formatted content, your account or subscription state didn’t successfully activate across sessions so the assistant lost access, you hit a short-term usage or rate limit, or the service had a transient failure that allowed a previous request to succeed but then blocked later ones. Please sign out and sign back in, confirm your AI subscription shows as active in your account, retry the same file in the web version of Acrobat to see if it reproduces there, try exporting the PDF text to Word or a simpler PDF and run the translation on that simpler file

@Sarah_Free3852

Adding to the previous reply, if it is a spreadsheet then Export to Excel instead of Word.
