I use adobe dc to create and save pdf for filing documents through court systems. Recently my documents are being rejected because there are fields in the documents I create. When I try to convert to pdf/a there are are errors that cannot be fixed.

There is no such product as adobe dc. Can we assume you mean either Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Standard DC?

Without very specific information about the documents from which you are creating PDF (Word? InDesign, what), the method (there are often more than one available) used with Acrobat to create PDF file as well as which options you are using to parameterize the PDF creation, as well as platform (Windows, Mac, etc.), it is virtually impossible for us to diagnose what your issue really is. When you mention “fields” it implies annotations or form fields.
