There is no extra subscription cost for cloud storage and most people don't use it, so your simple needs are just the typical needs. Your subscription is single user. You probably should look into a Team license, which allows you to buy more licenses for named users and administer separately rather than each user installing on their own Adobe ID. There is an enterprise toolkit but it requires some study and expertise in enterprise deployment.

Not sure what you mean by "Basic DC" but I assume it's Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Standard.

1. the subscription or permanent license is for YOU only; you may use it on up to two machines but not at the same time.

2. The license is not for sharing with friends, colleagues, staff, or family.

3. If you have a subscription you can have it installed on more computers with the same Adobe ID. When you try to activate it on computer number 3 you have the option to deactivate it on the other two automatically.

4. If you have a permanent license it is not practical to switch computers in normal use.

5. If you need more computers like this get a NEW ADOBE ID for these computers ( this is vital) and pay again.

6. The free Acrobat Reader can be used on as many computers as you want.

Thank you for your response.

Allow be to be more specific.

I use Acrobat Pro DC by subscription.

I like the thought that I’ll automatically be updated for any new version updates or fixes.

But I have NO need for the cloud storage, or any of the many other components of the Adobe family of products..

I just want the functionality of the program, for myself and others. Just “plain vanilla” use.

Given the simplicity of what I need, what is the best subscription arrangement available, for me to continue to subscribe, and add other users. And, of course, each user will need installation on both their office desktop and their laptop respectively.

Thank you,

Kive
