I've recently got a new computer and am now unable to edit PDFs etc even though I'm logged into my Adobe account...it keeps sending me to the page with the pricing to purchase the package but I'm already being charged for the service how do I fix this?

Hi Emmaw,

I have checked your account information and found an active subscription of Adobe Acrobat DC under it. So you should be able to access the Edit Tool without asking you to pay again.

I assume that you have been trying to access your subscription through wrong application "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC"? However you should be working on Adobe Acrobat DC.

If you are working on Adobe Reader DC (free application) and trying to use the Edit feature, then it would take you to the "buy now" page. Because Reader DC doesn't support the Edit functionality.

You may download the Acrobat DC to access your subscription- Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC | Non-subscription

For more convenient you may uninstall the free app Adobe Reader DC- Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

Hope this helps.

Hi Akanchha,

Yes it appears my new computer didn't have reader DC, have now installed and looks good, thanks for your help.
