Illegible Font

I am having an issue wher Adobe is converting the font on a file to an illegible font. Upon initial download of the file it is fine but after a few minutes it changes.

We are sorry for the trouble. As described, Adobe is converting the font on a file to an illegible font.

 

It seems to be an issue with the fonts embedding.  Either the fonts are not properly embedded into the PDF file while creation or the required fonts are not installed/available on the computer. 

 

Please try the following steps and see if that helps:

 

  • Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat XI (Mac) > Preferences > page Display > Under Rendering, Select 'use local fonts' > click OK and check.

 

If it still doesn't work, 

 

  • Open the PDF file > Go to Tools > Print Production > Prefilght > Single Fix up > Under Documents, Select 'Embed Fonts' > Click Fix and see if that works for you.
