Question

imagemaskDistiller error, record specific, when distilling a .ps file

Hi,

The full error message is as follows:

%%[ Error: ioerror; OffendingCommand: imagemaskDistiller ]%%

Stack:

-dict-

%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%

%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%

At first i thought this was related to the graphics I used within the scripts, but when i removed these, spooled and distilled the data file, I received the same error.

The error also occurs on exactly the same page during distilling, and i managed to isolate the exact record that seems to initiate the issue.  I can not see any funny characters within this record.

The data file is .txt, containing 3 main record types :

recordlayout_Clients.pdi

recordlayout_Valuations.pdi

recordlayout_Transactions.pdi

Below is the left part of a sample data file that makes up a document, if its helpful. I have isolated the issue to the header row (LF).  If i completely replace this row with the LF record from another document, it works fine.  There does not seem to be anything other than normal characters within the troublesome record.  (I even went so far as to re-type the record from scratch.  Still no joy.)

Hope you can help.

The error relates to a graphic, not to text. It may be that the app which prints is using graphics to represent text or fonts.
