Images in Acrobat Pro v2026.001.21529 Mac Not Viewing Properly

Beginning w/ the update to Acrobat Pro v2026.001.21529 Mac, images/files from xd files are not viewing properly. See example attached (I have more if needed). These are both legacy files created in xd a few yrs ago as well as new files created in the latest version of xd.

Users within our org who have updated Acrobat to the latest version are experiencing this issue. Those who have yet to update are NOT having any issues.

Images/files do view properly in Chrome.

We have experimented w/ every single preference in Acrobat to no avail. Note that I am running Tahoe v26.2

    Hello @Michael_TSM,

I hope you are doing well, and thank you for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble you had with the latest build of Acrobat.

Please share some sample PDF files, as well as an image with us, for testing purposes. Also, the logs from the affected machine. Please check this article to collect the logs, and share them with us in a direct/private message. Click on my community user profile name, and select message to send the details. Please add the community thread title and the link in the message. https://adobe.ly/4u3pZs5

    Suggestions:

Re‑process the PDF through Acrobat or Illustrator:

Opening the PDF in Illustrator or Acrobat and re‑saving it can flatten problematic transparency and restore proper rendering in Acrobat.

Export with flattened assets from the source file

    When possible:

    Reduce transparency

    Flatten image masks

Avoid unsupported effects before exporting to PDF

Let us know the details and how it goes after trying these suggestions.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
