In Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit) Version 2024.001.20604, the keyboard shortcuts

In Adobe Acrobat Pro (64-bit) Version 2024.001.20604, I can't seem to get the keyboard shortcuts to work. I can copy something from an email or a Word document and paste it into Acrobat, but I can't seem to use any shortcuts (Ctrl+x, Ctrl+c, or Ctrl+v) within Acrobat exclusively. For example, when I create a fillable form and want to copy text from one form field to another, it won't let me use the keyboard shortcuts. I have to right-click the mouse, select "Copy" (or "Cut"), move the cursor to the form field, then right-click the mouse and select "Paste". Why can I not use the keyboard shortcuts to do this instead?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
