In new Acrobat Reader CR Version 2023.003.20244 how do you copy selected text

Hi,

Honestly speaking the interface of Acrobat Reader CR Version 2023.003.20244 is confusing. I wanted to copy a text, I selcted the text using select text tool but when I right click it shows edit and when click on edit text then it shows a window "Why upgrade to Pro".

I just needed to copy a small portion of text, how could I do that.

Preferences > General > Make Hand tool select text & images (3rd row on the right)

Hi, after selecting the text, can you confirm if in the Edit menu Copy is available of greyed out?

It might mean that the file is protected. check using File > Properties > Security tab, there is a section that confirms if copying the text is allowed or not.

Thank you very much for the reply. I checked Document Properties/Security Content Copying Not Alllowed.

Also I confired another PDF document which has Content Copying Allowed, I can copy the text.
