incompatibility Acrobat and Archicad

Question

Hello! I have a big problem with compatibility of two programms. After installation Adobe Acrobat Pro 2022.003.20282, the files in ArchiCAD 25 stopped opening. I thought that there was some error in instalation, or some virus, checked everythng, delete Adobe Acrbat, clean reestr, ArchiCad starts to work again.

I installed again Acrobat from CreativeCloud, opened some files, ArhiCAD again stopped opening any files. What is this software incompatibility?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

What happens when you try to open the files using ArchiCAD application? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same. A small video recording of the same would be very helpful.

You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Win and try using the application there and check.

As you have the latest version of the application, Please remove the application using the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works.
