Inconsistencies in PDF form fields display.

I have a low-budget client that I built an event flyer for. She frequently needs me to change the Location, Date/Time and Fee information. I thought it would be easist (and cheaper for her) if I made the flyer into a PDF form with fields for the variables. Then she could change the data herself as necessary for each event. However, I have been running into inconsistencies with how the fields display (mostly font alignment issues). She's visually picky (as am I) and want the fields to algn properly. They look great on my end (in InDesign) but wrong on her end. It seems to be a problem with the vertical alignment of the text in the fields. I made sure she was using Acrobat Reader (rather than other dubious PDF viewers) and the issue persists. See the attachements (sorry that her's is low rez, she was looking at it small when I talked her throught the screen capture procedure). Any thoughs on why this is rendering inconsistently?
