Question

Incorrect credentials showing up on my Dynamic Stamps

When I am working on my computer under my Adobe licence, another users credentials are appearing on my Dynamic stamps. I know I can go to Properties and change, but it doesn’t seem right that I can dynamic stamp "approve"  as someone else. I shouldn’t be able to see anyone's digital stamps, unless I am working on their computer under their login. Our company owns 5 active Adobe DC licences.

If something you do on your computer changes the setup of another user on a different computer, then you have a strange user setup. Are you sharing the same login? Are you sharing the same Adobe ID (which given the five licenses you have seems unlikely)?

If not, then your IT department did something that ties the two accounts together and only they can fix that.

Hi clarecf,

I apologize for the delay in response.

Could you please try resetting the preferences for Acrobat and see if that helps?

Please follow the steps given below:

For Windows:

Close Acrobat DC

(ii) Go to C:\Users\your username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\DC or 2015

(iii) Move the entire DC/2015 folder to some other location like temp folder .

To view temp folder, press and hold Windows key and press R on your keyboard, type temp in the run dialogue box then press enter.

If App data folder is not visible under your user name, type %appdata% in run dialogue box and hit enter

For Mac:

(i)Close Acrobat DC

(ii)Drag the following files from the Users/[Usrname]/Library/Preferences folder to the Desktop:

    Acrobat WebCapture Cookies

   com.adobe.Acrobat.pro.plist

Acrobat folder, which contains prefrences for forms(MRUFormsList), collaboration (Offline Docs), and color settings (AcrobatColor Settings.csf)

(iii) Restart Acrobat.

Please confirm the version of Acrobat installed on the machine.

You may refer to this link to do so: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

Keep us posted with the results.

Thanks,

Shivam

Good Morning,

I sent this to my IT consultant to make the changes but unfortunately this did not fix the issue. They completed this not only on my machine but the other users machine and we are both experiencing issues.

Good Morning Shivam,

I reviewed the support call link above an followed all steps to confirm/Change identity.

I have managed to correct my identity for the time being, however I know as soon as the second user turns on there machine they will now have my identity, so it is a never ending battle.

If you have any other solutions or comments that may be helpful, please share.

regards,

Clarecf

Hi again, I have just confirmed that the second user on Adobe DC this morning is now showing my identity details.

So I am still experiencing the same issue.

Thanks
