Incorrect Search results after converting from PPT to PDF

I am unable to figure out why my search results are incorrect.

I saved a powerpoint as PDF in Powerpoint. Now search results are inaccurate.

I already did clear Purge cache contents. Currently I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC V. 2022.002.20191

In attached screenshot, I searched for the word December and it is giving me eight results when in fact there are only four.

Before you convert the Powerpoint to a PDF, run the Accessibility Checker.

 

It will detect errors and other things that may need to be addressed.

 

Select the recommended remedial actions, save the document.

 

Just for troubleshooting purposes, use the "Save As" PDF method directly from PowerPoint, and produce another PDF using the Acrobat PDFMaker COM Add-in.

 

Test the Search again in both of the produced PDFs to compare against each other if you observe the same issue in both PDFs or just one of them.

 

If the Save As methods works then we can narriw down the issue to a PDF creation profile that may need to be adjusted in PDFMaker add-in.
