Question

insert email link in Acrobat XI

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here?

I have an email address written within the text of a pdf document and I want to make that text open the users default email programme to send an email message when clicked. I created a weblink  url of the form:

mailto: email@address

When I click on it it opens my default web browser not my email programme.

I feel sure that is what I did before.

Also, can anyone remind me how to include a default "subject" in the link?

Thanks

Remove the space after the colon.

That is what I had originally, so I put the space in, just in hope!

So it doesn't work even without the space? Can you share the file with us (via Dropbox, Google Drive, Adobe Cloud, etc.)?
