install of Acrobat DC from CC menu fails

I'm running the beta 6 of macOS 10.13, and that may be relevant, but maybe it's not too.

At around 43% installed there is an error. Here's the full error report:

Exit Code: 7

Please see specific errors below for troubleshooting. For example,  ERROR: DW003, DW006 ...

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s)

----------- Payload: Adobe Acrobat DC 17.9.20058.0 Acrobat DC/Acrobat DC Installer.pkg_17.009.20058 -----------

ERROR: DW006: Apple Package failed to install successfully.

ERROR: DW003: Third party payload installer /tmp/58B82309-289A-4FF3-9879-5D9E2060CF6A/Acrobat_DC_Web_WWMUI/Acrobat DC/Acrobat DC Installer.pkg failed with exit code: 1

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I tried the general CC cleaner tool, but that doesn't seem to list Acrobat at all. I looked at the Acrobat cleaner tool, but that's Windows only.

Also found discussions suggesting to delete the PDF admin preferences file, which I tried.

Any of you seen this before?

Adobe does not support installation and running of Adobe products on beta OS versions. Adobe is aware of a number of MacOS 10.13 incompatibility issues which we expect to be resolved before MacOS 10.13 is actually released.

I understand the policy, but do you want me to show a number of reports of the same issue with older versions of system software? If I had not mentioned 10.13, what would your answer have been?

BTW, all other CC apps continue to install ok.
