Installation failed. An error occured during installation

Brand new iMac running Ventura 13.5, 16GB memory. No issues downloading Illustrator or Photoshop. Tried downloading Acrobat in Chrome and Firefox, getting same message.

    Please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html  , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html  and see if that works.

    It won't let me download and run the tool, same error message

    Hi there

     

    Please check for any missing/pending updates for Mac OS and try to reboot the computer once and see if that works.

     

    You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in MAC and try using the application there and check.
