Hi javablood,

As mentioned above, you are facing issue when trying to install Acrobat on the machine, could you try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Download and run cleaner tool on the machine to remove traces of Acrobat: Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

2- Reboot the machine

3- Download and install Acrobat from here: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC | Non-subscription

4- Reboot the machine again and check.

If that doesn't work, try creating a new user on the machine by clicking Start  button, then select Settings  > Accounts  > Family & other people > Add someone else to this PC, Login into that account, and try installing Acrobat again.

Let us know if you need any help.

Thank you Bani.  However, I still cannot install my product and there is no other way to contact "Customer Care" except in this forum, although the contact options do indicate that a chat is supposed to be available.  This is very frustrating!

Why isn't Adobe contacting me through this forum to get this problem resolved????

I don't know, there should be chat or phone, but I wouldn't expect much at the weekend.

I misspoke on WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe. I just downloaded the installer from  Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC | Non-subscription and I too got a memory error:

So that's normal. Turns out this file was only needed on really old versions of Windows.

But I get no error on the other files. Are your files the same size and date shown in my download? Did you turn off your antivirus?

My files match yours exactly!  I tried without real time protection and still get the error. Tres bizarre.  I appreciate all your assistance.  I guess I will have to try and contact Adobe on the morrow!

The WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe file is a standard Microsoft thing. You don't need it, but it should run. This does suggest your download was somehow scrambled.

This is very frustrating.  I just downloaded the package again, unzipped it, and tried to run all the files I previously mentioned and still get the same error.  What am I supposed to do now?

Why can't I get a chat session or phone number to talk to someone about this?  All I get when I try is back to the community even though it says a chat or phone is available for Adobe Acrobat Pro? argh!!!

When you ask a question you need to provide some basic information

-Forum quick start https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-5601

Mac or Windows, and EXACTLY which version of the operating system?

Recent Mac AND Windows operating systems have been known to cause "odd" problems

Are you using a computer Administrator account with full read/write permission?

I apologize.  I am running Windows 10 on a PC.  I am not sure if I am using an Administrator Account yet I am the only owner/user.

PS I tried to run it as administrator and received the same error message
