Question

Installation PRO neben READER

Hallo,

Because Adobe in its infinite wisdom decided to combine the two applications into one, so now it's impossible to have both installed at the same time, unless you use the 32-bit version of Reader and the 64-bit version of Acrobat, or something like that.

Morning - I try to do that with the 32bit-version, but the system blocks, because a "better" version found on system.
May be it's unpossible for the future to use both versions READER and PRO ?

@DOCMabuse, both 64-bit versions cannot be run together.

When you load the 32-bit version, what error do you receive? Is it something similar to this https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-reader-discussions/error-newer-version-already-installed-acrobat-reader-dc/m-p/11053337/thread-id/65095

Hi @DOCMabuse

Thanks for reaching out.

The above changes are part of Acrobat Reader migration to 64-bit.

If you have installed Acrobat Reader 64-bit and you purchase an Acrobat subscription, the Acrobat Reader 64-bit application will upgrade to become a fully functional Acrobat 64-bit

application.

For more details, please read this help article here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/about-acrobat-reader-dc-migration-to-64-bit.html

Thanks,

Akanchha

That's may be nice in the idee, but for using in my days, I also would use the simple version of the reader, by only checking my documents
