Hello Danielam,

As per the description above, you want to install the Acrobat 9 Standard in a Virtual machine, Is that correct?

Yes, you have to first deactivate the License from the physical PC. And the activation of Acrobat in a  Virtual environment is only possible if you have a Volume license.

You may refer to Introduction — Enterprise Administration Guide  Link: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/AdminGuide/index.html

The Acrobat 9 is declared as an End of Life product and the support is limited, for more information, you can refer to End of support | Reader 9 and Acrobat 9 (and earlier)  Link: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-support-acrobat-8-reader.html

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Anand Sri.
