Installed Acrobat X Pro on new computer, will not start

I deactivated it on the old computer first.

I see this in the amt3.log file

AMT: Licensing has been refused.  Application must exit.

don't see how to attach the entire file.  Tried everything I could find on Google.

if you have a newer (incompatible) os you can expect some (or a lot of) problems.  that said, if you have windows you can:

uninstall using the control panel

clean per Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

restart your computer

reinstall and activate.

if that fails, Error: "Licensing has stopped working" | Windows
