Installing Older Version with Updates

I have Acrobat 4 along with Acrobat 5 Upgrade, Acrobat 7 Pro Upgrade and Acrobat 9 Pro Upgrade (original packages with serial numbers and all registered to me).  The computer that I had them all installed / upgraded to Acrobat 9 Pro crashed, so I'm trying to install / upgrade from scratch on my Windows 10 system.

 

I've been able to install Acrobat 5 and apply the serial number from Acrobat 4 to activate it.  I've installed the Acrobat 7 Pro upgrade successfully, but can't activate it because both the internet and phone activation options are no longer supported so I am unable to retrieve an Authorization Code.  Once it has been activated, I would then apply the Acrobat Pro 9 Upgrade (but expect that to also rely on the activation options that are no longer available).

 

Any suggestions that don't require buying a new copy?

 

On another note, I tried to register my installed version of Acrobat 5 but the system said that it was already registered.  When I tried logging into my account, it appears that it is no longer available because the system cannot locate either my email address or phone number.  It has been quite a while since I've logged into the account, so I'm wondering if Adobe automatically deleted it because of inactivity.

Acrobat 9 is almost 20 years old, Acrobat 4 is over 30.
You won't be surprised to learn that none of these versions work with Windows 10.

If the chat window fails to open, then use a different device.
Beware of people contacting you via the forums' messaging system pretending to work for Adobe! Only those with an "Adobe Employee" tag under their name are legit. Also, Adobe will never offer to contact you via Skype, or use an email account that's not under the adobe.com domain.

Thanks for the reply.  Just to clarify, I first tried the Adobe support chat which was completely useless (I kept getting the same links to the current activation process no matter how I phrased my questions), and I don't do social media (facebook, twitter/x, etc.) because of the toxicity.  Looks like I'm on my own here, and will have to investigate alternatives.  That doesn't surprise me, but I must say that I am a bit disappointed.  Such is life.  Thanks again.
