Question

Interactive Buttons inserted on Adobe Acrobat Pro won't work until document is downloaded.

I created a table of content page for a document and inserted bookmarks and links throughout the 113-page document.  All of those are working correctly even when I share the file link to other people.  I then went back in and created an interactive button on the bottom of each page that would take you back to the table of contents.  When the file is downloaded the text in the box shows up and the button works on every page as seen below.

However, I then included a link to this document on a SharePoint home page for a team of people to use as a resource without having to download the file.  But the interactive buttons DO NOT work.  Not unless the document is downloaded. Help!!

Please tell me there is a solution! Thanks in advance.

Try this:

Replace the button with a link.

The PDF plugin you're using does not support fields and scripts properly, apparently. You should complain to its developers.
