Interactive PDF fields not working from Mac to Windows PC

My designer makes PDFs in Illustrator and adds interactive fields in Acrobat, he uses a MacBook Pro M3. When he sends me the file to check it, the interactive fields do not work properly. They are visible but, especially text fields, do not keep their attributes, for example:

• text fields do not remember font size to auto
• fields do not remember type (e.g., only numbers, varchar, etc.)

Why does this happen?
