ipad Acrobat app shows blank pages in scanned documents

I am using the Acrobat app on an ipad (10th gen.) and since the last update (24.08.00) two days ago several or all pages of scanned documents display as blank (and they are not). In many cases, the only thing visible on these blank pages are highlights or other kind of comments but not the actual text. Does anyone know if this is a known issue?

thanks for the update - hopefully Adobe will figure out the problem and get it fixed soon...
It is unfortunate that on iOS we cannot revert to the previous version which worked

I have a few ideas for you to try...

Do you have Adobe Reader set as your default for opening PDF files on your ipad?

If no...then try changing that.

If yes...then that is not the issue. Try "copy to PDF." close the original and open the copy and see if that worked.

Also...have you tried opening the file in GoodReader app?

Many thanks for your reply. The files open normally in other apps. As far as I know, there is no option for setting any app as the default app for opening pdfs. Duplicating the file does not work either. I have just seen that at least one other user seems to have the same problem and checked that the iphone update also displays scanned documents as blank pages. It has to be the update.
