Is Acrobat Pro 9 compatible with Mac OS 10.13.2?

I just got a new laptop (MacBook 12") and haven't been able to install Acrobat Pro version 9 onto it. I spent 2+ hrs with tech support, they provided a download link for the software after I provided my SN. After multiple chats and doing the same thing over and over the support person told me that version is old and I need to go to these forums instead, so here I am.

Here's what happens: after installation (via dragging theAcrobat Pro folder to my applications folder), when I attempt to launch the application it opens a window that says "installing/fixing installation..."  then nothing happens. I see the icon in the dock and its name on the menu bar but it won't progress, and when I click anywhere the window disappears and nothing continues to happen. I have to force quit it. But it never launches or even gets to the place to enter the serial number. I searched the forums a bit but couldn't find anything, I am hoping someone can help. Thanks in advance!

No, they are not compatible. The latest Mac OS version that was is 10.5: Older versions of Acrobat (XI, X, 9) system requirements

It's time to get a new license.
