Is it possible to automatically lock comments?

Hello,

 

I am experiencing an issue where comments disappear during the conversion from PDF to PDF/A format.

After testing, I noticed that comments remain intact after the conversion if they are locked.

My question is: Is there a way to automatically lock comments? Is there a setting for this in the preferences?

You can set them to be locked when they are created, but once they exist you will need to modify them manually to lock them. However, you should be able to simply select all comments, right-click one of them and then go to Properties and set them as Locked. It can also be done using a script.
