Is it possible to make a pdf rename with it attaches to an email?

I have a pdf form with a submit button that automatically attaches the file to an email. Is it possible to make the pdf name automatically change to match the name field within the pdf document when it is attached to the email?

Thanks!

In order to rename a PDF file in Acrobat (or Reader) a script file has to be installed on the machine of each user who is going to open it. Is that possible in your case? If so, read these tutorials for further help on the subject:

Hi Rachelle,

Hope you are doing well.

If we understand your question correctly, you would like the attached file name changed (Automatically) to the Form Field name when it's attached to the email after using the Submit button.

If this is the case, then no, that's not possible to get it done automatically. The file name can only be changed before it gets attached to the email, not after that.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks,
