Is it possible to print multiple pages with copies on one sheet - example page 1 on top left and bottom left of sheet, page 2 on top right and bottom right of sheet.

To get the same page multiple times use the "Pages" option and give the same page number multiple times. With this trick you do not need to edit your file. For a single page flyer this is quite workable. For a 20 page pamphlet, it would start out to get complicated...

If I understand your query correctly, you are willing to print a multiple pages on paper sheet. Which would have same page copied twice.

What you are looking for, can be partially achieved. While printing the PDF, you can select "Multiple" option under the "Page Sizing & Handling" and "Pages to Print" select the pages manually.

However, to copy the same page twice for a multi-page pdf you might need to make changes to the original pdf where you can duplicate the pages to print this way.
