Is it possible to restrict ability to "reply" from comments

I am using PDF comments to share information with readers but do not want the reply option to be functional. These documents, including comments need to be read only to others. Is this possible?

You may try setting permissions for the pdf file in Acrobat DC as described in the link below:

You can prevent commenting in general (using a security policy), but you can't disable just the reply function.
