Technically no... but yes... sort of... it all depends on how the model was converted. If there is a hierarchy of parts, then selecting the parent will select all of the child parts though only the parent node will register as the one being selected.

You cannot select more than one node at the same level of the hierarchy or different nodes at different levels.
